The Cnudde Brewery in Eine in the Flemish Ardennes is an outsider. It is one of the three remaining brewers of Oudenaards Bruin, but it only fires up the brew kettles when pubs’ supplies are nearly exhausted. Interesting fact: the water that Cnudde uses for this beer comes from under the cemetery in Eine. The brewery calls its Cnudde Oud Bruin ‘Kerkhofsop’ (cemetery juice).
